    Gucci in Hanoi -- really.

See almost the same picture (the last video on the webpage) taken by a professional photographer at http://www.kimlephotography.com/blog/2010/11/17/gucci-hanoi-grand-opening/.
A motorbike parking lot on the sidewalk near the rear (new) entrance to the Sofitel Metropole (white building with canope on the left). Motorbikes are guarded by entrepreneurs who, for a small fee, watch the bikes to prevent stealing.
Monument in Hanoi to the 3/2/30 (March 2, 1930) movement, founded by Ho Chi Minh.

The ICP is a union of three communist groups that were operating individually in Indochina. In a secret telegram on September 27, 1929, the Communist International (ComIntern) ordered these groups to unite and form one movement in order to more effectively mobilize the people under communist ideologies. Hence, on March 2, 1930, Ho Chi Minh, using the name Ly Thuy at the time, united the groups, and formed the Indochinese Communist Party to include movements in Laos and Cambodia.
